Role: BI Architect (12 Years of Experience) Location: Madison, WI (Remote after relocation) Duration: Long term Top Skills & Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience performing an analyst role in one or more of the following areas: - Data warehousing - Data visualization and dashboard development - Report development - Training data analysts - Stakeholder engagement - SAS and/or SQL programming Business Intelligence Architect II IS Data Services Specialist 1 This position will work with the Wisconsin Medicaid data management team, Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) leaders, and SAS Institute to ensure the use of SAS Institute business intelligence applications (EDW/DAR) enhances decision making capabilities through the use of data analytics, dashboards, visualizations, and reports. The Business Intelligence Architect will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for outcomes based metrics DMS is required to submit to federal partners for enhanced federal funding. This position will work with DMS staff, SAS Institute and stakeholders to take corrective action such as additional or modified training, use case development, and establishing a community of practice for EDW/DAR users. General skills and experience: Excellent interpersonal communication skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify data related challenges and provide appropriate solutions Excellent organization and time management skills In-depth knowledge of SAS software, data integration, reporting and analytics. Strong presentation and training skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Experience working with data or analytics projects. Experience working with customers supporting data in their practice Data Warehouse skills and experience: Advanced skills related to data analysis, reporting, and visualization. Experience with performing analytics while leveraging SAS tools Skilled at querying multiple data sources at a time Experience designing and developing dashboards Experience with data mapping Experience with data validation Proficient in SQL programming Industry skills and experience 3 to 5 years of experience performing an analyst role in one or more of the following areas: Data warehousing Data visualization and dashboard development Report development Training data analysts Stakeholder engagement SAS and/or SQL programming Healthcare claims and/or enrollment data experience preferred Error!
