LinkedIn Is Needed Daily Responsibilities: As aPerformance Engineer you will be part of the team that influences the expansionof Starbucks Retail Tech Cloud Foundation Services for speed, scale, and highavailability, with the task design performance experiments, collect and analyzedata. You willalso develop power tools and automation frameworks for continuous integration,performance measurement and analysis. Optimizesystems end-to-end capacity by advising on infrastructure design, service andapplication tuning, solving complex service cluster architecture andtransaction processing challenges with impact in data streaming, IoTapplications, Platform, APIs and customer service experiences. Musthave technical competency to write fast and efficient code, find inefficienciesand collaborate with others to make performance improvements. Must beable to measure performance gains in a demonstrable and a scientific way bycreating and executing workloads and simulations. Thecandidate should be confident in discussing time/space system complexity andwill engage in all phases of work, including performance design and scalabilityfactors. Highly visible and complex Technology requirements 5-7 years in testing and quality engineering with 5 years of performance, scalability testing and performance tools Understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization Ability to identify system bottlenecks and provide a root cause analysis Experience in performance testing large scale distributed systems/ Microservices cloud architecture. Knowledge and experience in the use of JMeter/Gatling Experience with cloud-based application scalability, stress & concurrency testing tools Experience in testing Web Applications based on REST Strong skills in backend development languages, C# experience in an enterprise software production environment and/or cloud SaaS / PaaS preferred Proven experience with development and maintenance of performance tests in large-scale multi-tenant web applications Knowledge and experience in using Visualization Tools to create dashboards for performance analysis Need performance experience not performance testers Preferred qualifications: Experience/ Knowledge of the following languages/ frameworks/ tools/ providers.
