Please send me your genuine candidate on my email ID [email protected] Position: Network Engineer (hybrid) Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration : Long Term Work authorization: EAD, GC, USC Must-have skills: industry certification in networking, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA); gov exp (preferred) Requirements: Availability to work at the Clients site in Tallahassee, FL (required); IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments performing network engineering (hardware and/or software), design, planning and implementation (3+ years); Experience with networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, and wireless networks; Experience implementing and managing security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and virtual private networks (VPNs); Experience utilizing network monitoring tools and analyzing network performance metrics to identify and address issues proactively; Current industry certification in networking, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA), among others Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Manage and configure changes to the Departments network monitoring tools. Manage ongoing maintenance tasks to include, but not limited to, installing patches, updates, and security fixes to keep the network up-to-date and secure. Manage and configure switches, wireless access points, routers, and various other network related equipment, to include running cable and fiber. Manage and configure changes to firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, virtual private networks, and the development of security policies and procedures. Provide assistance with the configuration and optimization of routers, switches, and access points to ensure efficient and reliable operations. Provide assistance troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues and outages. Monitor network performance and provide the department with weekly reports, due by Friday each week, providing insights into the health of the network, its capacity, and utilization.
