I have following requirement, please reply me back with profile along with rate expectation Need GC or USC Role: Data Architect Location: Shelton, CT or Johnston, RI Duration: 6+ month contract (potential contract to hire) Interview: Video It does require onsite work in Shelton, CT or Johnston, RI and they prefer candidates that can be hired on FT eventually Notes: Looking for someone to serve as a Solution/Data Architect Building out a data infrastructure at the enterprise level that will be a consumption environment, like a DW on top of their data lake-- mainly for Fraud business line for deposits (maybe some lending use cases too) They are trying to build an enterprise asset that fits into their data strategy- built around consumer loan products Looking to increase coverage around fraud This person would work with the business lines to come back with data requirements, can help drive design conversations and drive the process for conceptual models There is a technical counterpart that this person would work with, they would help with schemas and how things would perform This group is responsible for user experience and the product Needs to have exp in data warehousing design and development-- they do have data analysts, so this person does not need to profile the data-- this is more of a data architect Someone who can be technical enough to translate-- can be more of an analyst one day, another day understand data warehouse and data flow; can relay these concepts This person does not have to figure out the deployment of Redshift in which schema, but they need to be able to ask questions around performance Azure, AWS experience is fine-- does not have to have Redshift experience Legacy environment is Oracle, SQL Server-- this is helpful experience, but not required Does not need to be a data modeler, but can articulate data movement, feeds, consumption- someone who can use Visio or PPT to turn concepts from the business to a high-level architectural diagram 90-95% processes are batch ETLs but they are moving toward data streaming (APIs) that are more real time Kafka, Kubernetes- awareness/knowledge of these are helpful Should be able to put together a data flow diagram in Visio or PowerPoint Thanks & Regards!
