If they are not local, they really need to have experience in all of the required areas and will have to be able to VPN consistently with their own equipment This role involves revamping an existing web application to incorporate new design elements and enhanced functionality for users needs. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of eight (8) years of expert-level experience with the following technologies: .NET C# ASP.NET, i.e., Web Forms and MVC MS SQL Server, i.e., T-SQL and stored procedures JavaScript jQuery XML / JSON Web Service, i.e., RESTful and SOAP, development and implementation HTML5 Exhibit professional organization and documentation competencies Effective communication and interpersonal capabilities Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check PREFERRED Programming experience utilizing any of the following reporting components: SyncFusion Bold Reports Telerik Reporting Visual Studio Report Designer, i.e., SSRS Strong grasp of written and spoken English, demonstrate fluency in both verbal and written communication Experience in development relating to legislative business processes MILESTONE DELIVERABLES Revise or enhance an existing, secure-access web application to incorporate additional user functionality in accordance with project requirements specifications. Create and establish test data for validation with every release. Produce and provide project-specific technical documentation throughout development process. Collaborate with both functional and technical personnel to collect documentation pertaining to the existing system architecture and application requirements within the initial four weeks. Enhance the project's efficiency and effectiveness by actively engaging as a team member in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings. Deliver assigned project on schedule; if project is in jeopardy of not meeting deadline, inform development team within 24 hours of determination. Communicate development roadblocks to development team within 24 hours of determination. DAILY/WEEKLY EXPECTATIONS Design and develop functionality meeting the needs of determined project requirements and bugs. Deliver weekly progress for development team code review. Analyze and correct technical issues as found, providing weekly bug status updates. Evaluate and recommend alternative application design solutions. Maintain and communicate status of work performed bi-weekly at minimum. Updates tasks in Azure DevOps boards corresponding to work efforts.
