Please find below the JD and let me know if youre fine with it Azure data Architect Location : Remote Contract Proven experience as a Solution Architect (12-14 years), with a strong track record of successfully architecting and implementing Azure-based solutions. Extensive knowledge of Azure Native Services, including Azure Purview, Azure Synapse, and Databricks. Experience in defining and implementing Data Governance strategies, Data Quality Management, and Data Catalog solutions. Proficiency in designing and implementing data models, transformations, and data lineage. Strong understanding of clinical data concepts and data governance practices within the healthcare industry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating architectural challenges. Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, agile environment. Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively within project timelines. Previous experience in healthcare or clinical data projects is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Architect the configuration of Azure Purview Service, ensuring seamless integration with existing Azure services, particularly Azure Synapse and Databricks. Design and oversee the registration of Data Assets, Data Dictionary, and data lineage within Azure Purview. Collaborate with Business and Technical SMEs to assess the current Azure ecosystem and data governance strategy. Understanding of cloud ecosystem, architecture, and design as per the business case Design and develop logical & physical data models that facilitate data governance within Azure Purview Collaborate with client to ensure proper security validation of solution components. Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, data mappings, transformation logic, and solution guidelines. Define data governance processes, roles, and responsibilities within Azure Purview to ensure efficient management and control of data assets. Define data ingestion pipelines, data transformation workflows & data mapping rules, ensure consistent and high-quality data. Define the metadata architecture, including metadata models, taxonomies, and schemas. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the solution's architecture and design.
