Role: Sr. Automation Tester Location: Albany, New York Duration: 27 Months Client: NY State Client Job ID#: HBITS-04-12766 BF Description This position will fill a key role on NIMRS Rewrite Project. This position will be responsible for quality assurance activities such as building and automating test cases based on system requirements, triaging and recording defects and ensuring compliance with agency, state, and federal regulation. In addition, this position may be required to assist in development of help documents for the end user. Duties Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following: Design, develop and execute the entire QA process, including documentation of test plans, test cases and test scripts for various web applications. Including testing of applications on desktop and mobile devices. Test various applications using automation testing tools (such as Selenium WebDriver), performing functional, integration, regression, system, and ADA compliance (using WAVE, NVDA), performance (using LoadRunner, Silk Performer) and ad-hoc testing. Develop and maintain automated regression tests using Selenium WebDriver with .Net Core for multiple applications using frameworks such as Open2Test, keyword-driven on various browsers. Work as part of the project team to ensure the project is meeting business and technical requirements, assist in triaging defects, and help to maintain the defect logs using TFS (Team Foundation Server)/ HP Quality Center Analyze business needs and create user acceptance tests and appropriate documentation. Comply with project plans and organization standards. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor. Mandatory Requirements Experience (8+ Years) Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 Months experience creating, maintaining, and running regression/automation tests with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) testing tool using Selenium WebDriver with.Net Core 2.0 or Java on various browsers. 84 Months experience creating, maintaining and running performance and ADA complaince testing using tools such as Loadrunner, JAWS, WAVE or NVDA. 84 Months experience with quality assurance and usability testing and analysis, using ALM QC for managing and maintaining test cases, running tests and tracking the defects. 84 months Experience coordinating, tracking, and analyzing testing activities working directly with business analysts, business and technical subject matter experts including use of defect management tools to identify, document, track and communicate problems to technical staff. 72 Months experience creating test documents for user acceptance testing and experience in functional and UAT testing 48 Months Experience using Team Foundation Server and SharePoint 24 Months Experience testing applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
