Come up with best techniques to solve problems using computer vision technology Up to date on computer vision technologies, CNNs, self- supervised learning, transformers Good understanding how camera and lens parameters and how to fine tune to make them work in different light and weather conditions Apply machine learning techniques to analyze and interpret complex data sets. Train junior computer vision scientists Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop innovative solutions. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning, and explore their potential applications in the energy sector. Conduct research and development activities to advance our capabilities in computer vision and machine learning. Provide technical leadership in the design and development of software systems. Ensure the quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance. Document and communicate technical specifications effectively to various stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. would be considered an asset. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on computer vision and machine learning. Proven experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of computer vision techniques, such as image processing, pattern recognition, camera fine tuning Experience deploying computer vision models at the edge Experience developing commercial computer vision solutions Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Excellent programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant languages. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
