Job Title: Security Engineer Location: Trenton, NJ(Hybrid) Duration: 6+ MONTHS Visa Type: No H1 Candidates local or Nearby State Job Description:- Security Engineer for a government client. This is a hybrid, ongoing contract opportunity. The selected candidate will work 3 days onsite per week. Our client is based in Trenton, New Jersey. Responsibilities and Duties: Audit and apply security controls to existing and future cloud environments. Implement a Policy as Code approach to security and integrate security notifications with existing solutions like SIEM and EDR. Plan, document, and implement controls with minimal guidance and/or training. Qualifications Education and Experience: 3+ years of experience in a cyber-security operations role. 3+ years of experience implementing Firewalls / Access Control Lists. 2+ years of experience with SIEM. 1+ year of experience with application source code vulnerability scanning and remediation. Desired Education and Experience: Active AWS Certifications. Experience with Active Directory and GPO Policies. Experience Network Protocols and firewall rules configuration. Experience with WAF.
