We are looking for Java Technical Architect at Natick, MA H4 EAD/L2 EAD/GC/GC EAD/USC Only Duration: CTH Mandatory Skills: Microservices architecture Serverless computing Containerizing applications Kubernetes Azure API gateways Job Description : Skills needed - Solid proficiency in working with Azure, Design & Architecture, API Security, Messaging platform, Spring boot Job description: Technical Architect - Monolithic to Microservices Migration We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Architect to lead the rearchitecting of our large-scale J2EE monolithic application into a Microservices architecture on the Azure cloud platform. Core Requirements: Solid experience as a Technical Architect, leading the rearchitecting of monolithic applications into Microservices architecture. Strong expertise in containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes. In-depth knowledge of Microservices architecture patterns, principles, and best practices. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform, including Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes service (AKS) and Azure DevOps. Proficiency in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot framework for Microservices development. Strong understanding of J2EE technologies and frameworks Azure Responsibilities: Azure Architecture Strategy: Develop a comprehensive Azure architecture strategy encompassing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Service Bus, Azure App Configuration, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, and Azure Container Registry (ACR). Microservices and Docker Architecture: Architect the microservices and Docker strategy for containerizing Java Spring Boot microservices and orchestrating their deployment to AKS using Helm. Security Architecture: Design and architect robust security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance with Azure security best practices. Monitoring and Scaling Strategy: Architect the monitoring and scaling strategy, which includes setting up Azure Monitor for end-to-end application performance monitoring and implementing auto-scaling strategies for microservices. DevOps Automation Strategy: Architect the DevOps automation strategy, encompassing the creation and management of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for seamless application deployment and updates. Caching Architecture Strategy: Design the caching architecture strategy to implement caching strategies aimed at enhancing application performance and reducing latency. API Management Strategy: Architect the API management strategy, configuring Azure API Management to expose services to external internet traffic, manage custom domains, and ensure secure access using certificates. Inter-service Communication Strategy: Design the strategy for efficient inter-service communication, utilizing Azure Service Bus and other messaging solutions. Configuration Management Strategy: Architect the configuration management strategy by implementing Azure App Configuration for centralized configuration management across microservices.
