About Us: The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) is seeking a skilled Project Manager 2 to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing technical development teams responsible for designing, developing, updating, and maintaining .NET applications. Your expertise in IT project management, Agile Scrum methodologies, and Azure DevOps will be essential to ensure the successful completion of projects that meet our standards and system/business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Technical Team Management: Lead technical development teams in the creation and maintenance of .NET applications. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure thorough QA testing and resolution of identified issues. Standards Compliance: Ensure that projects adhere to established standards and meet system/business requirements. Project Execution: Manage complex project work and maintain clear communications throughout the project lifecycle. Issue Resolution: Provide status updates on work assignments and proactively address technical issues that may impact project timelines. Security Compliance: Comply with THECB application project management documentation requirements, including overseeing security testing and vulnerability remediation in collaboration with security teams. Candidate Skills and Qualifications: Project Management: 7 years of experience in project management in an IT technical environment with a focus on managing tight timelines in USA. Agile Scrum: 5 years of experience managing development projects within an Agile Scrum environment. Azure DevOps: 3 years of experience using Azure DevOps for project management. Azure Cloud: 2 years of experience working in an Azure cloud environment. TASFA Knowledge: Preferred experience and knowledge of requirements for TASFA and development environments used at THECB. Work Hours and Location: Work Hours: Normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays. Location: Primary work location at 1801 Congress Ave. Suite 12.200, Austin, TX 78701. Hybrid Work: This is a hybrid work position, requiring two days onsite and three days remote work.
