Five years of Business Analyst (BA) experience. Strong understanding of Medicaid programs and policies. Primary Jobs: Experience of Federal Financial Participation (FFP) rules and regulation. Experience developing federal reporting to support FFP reimbursement process. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) desired. Experience with healthcare financial payment management process including remittance advices to billing providers. Assist client to ensure policies and procedures are implemented within the IMPACT system regarding the Medicaid Provider Enrollment business area. Provide system enhancement recommendations and effectively document and communicate that information for implementation. Analyze the current system and identify defects. Effectively documenting those issues to be communicated to the client. Ability to perform test procedures on system enhancements/configurations that have been implemented. Ability to perform regression testing to ensure enhancements to other components of the system dont impact the needs of your business area. Strong analytical skills and research capabilities. Define process enhancements derived through in-depth research and industry standards. Respond to questions timely, appropriately, and proficiently. Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects/assignments. Ability to communicate effectively when interacting with client and peers. Effectively adhere to client expectations and standards. Ability to create and deliver professional presentations. Accurately prepare and submit reports as needed. Computer resource navigation: Must be versed in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access. Must demonstrate the ability to professionally compose documents for stakeholders, the client and leadership. Must adhere to all corporate and client internet usage policies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other technical (4) year degree.
