| Job Title: WebForms Integration Specialist/ Back-End Web Developer Location: 100% Remote Visa : GC and USC Job Description: We are seeking a WebForms Integration Specialist to join our team at Cleco. This role is crucial in the transformation of our existing energy accounting database system, currently built on Oracle back end and VB6 front end, into a more modern and web-based solution using SQL and C#. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conforming forms to webforms and seamlessly integrating them with web-based platforms. Familiarity with Visual Studio, C#, and webforms design is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: WebForms Conversion: Lead the conversion of existing VB6 forms into modern webforms. Ensure the seamless integration of webforms with web-based platforms. Application Migration: Collaborate with the team on migrating the energy accounting database from Oracle to SQL. Work on enhancing the functionality and efficiency of the database system. Software Development: Utilize Visual Studio and C# to design and develop webforms. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. SSRS Integration (Plus): If experienced, integrate SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for reporting and data visualization. Documentation and Support: Maintain detailed documentation of the webforms and database structure. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Qualifications: Proven experience in converting VB6 forms to webforms and web-based integration. Proficiency in Visual Studio, C#, and webforms design. Familiarity with database management, especially SQL. Knowledge of Oracle to SQL migration is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Experience with SSRS is highly desirable.
