| From: Krishna, Orchids [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Geospatial Application Analyst Houston, TX (17577-1) The Geospatial Application Analyst position is responsible for the provision and support of application solutions, best practices of information systems within client organization. This role is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of geospatial solutions with the business, the management of geospatial data for the clients community, and working directly with users to resolve their issues in working with the ArcGIS applications and data. Job duties include working with the Geospatial Services team to ensure constant standards and implementation of the geospatial software. The job also includes ensuring the quality and accuracy of data and assisting in the defining and implementing of standard methodologies. This role will also focus on ArcGIS Enterprise/ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Monitor architecture and end user support. Responsibilities may include: Provide support of the ArcGIS Global Enterprise Environment Provide End User Support of ArcGIS Pro Deploy solutions and monitoring capabilities within ArcGIS Monitor Provide support and consult on Geospatial projects with business partners -Includes prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and ensuring requirements are met Development/customization of Geospatial solutions -WebApp Builder, Experience Builder, ESRI Mobile Applications, Python, FME, etc. Design and manage spatial datasets for efficient use by supported users Work with business analysts and business areas to support their spatial data Supporting, promoting and documenting all data management processes and procedures related to spatial data Ensuring the quality, consistency, and accuracy of data in a timely, effective and reliable manner Identify areas where spatial usage can enhance current procedures to improve efficiencies Configure and manage applications for efficient use by supported users Supporting, promoting and documenting all application management processes and procedures Ensure availability of applications Communicating issues/downtime regarding applications to Business Analysts and customers Deploying/Upgrading new versions of software. Server/Software Patching and Changes Partnering with vendors for escalated support. Create and maintain application knowledge center articles Basic/Required: *****Candidates that are missing some of the "Basic/Required" experience can still be submitted but those meeting all requirements will be considered first. 5+ years equivalent work experience working with ESRI applications 5+ years of experience working with Geospatial data/applications 5+ years of experience in ArcGIS support Preferred: Bachelor's degree o ArcGIS customization using ArcGIS Enterprise, WAB, ExB, and ESRI Mobile Applications Solid understanding of geographic information systems and spatial data o Administration of ArcGIS Server and ArcSDE, and Oracle database o Administration of ArcGIS Enterprise o Administration of ArcGIS Online o Administration of ArcGIS Monitor Solid understanding of data conversion and translations Understanding of database principles Understanding of ArcGIS data store Computer skills in: o ArcGIS/ArcPro suite of applications o ArcServer customization and administration o SQL/Oracle o Python o FME Ability to maintain the integrity of spatial datasets Problem solving skills with the ability to solve spatial data related problems for the customers Works well under times of intense pressure and adheres to tight deadlines Ability to prioritize requests and multi-task Ability to learn new applications and techniques quickly Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals Generates effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with the following other support groups: o Customers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts and technical assistants (Geotechs) within business units Strong understanding of application deployment in Windows Environment Strong understanding of SQL (SQL Server and Oracle) Knowledge of GIS Workflows and Processes Keywords: Texas |
