JOB DESCRIPTION: JOB TITLE: Business Analyst LOCATION: Quincy Massachusetts-HYBRID(NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE) WORK VISA: NO H1B, CPT AND OPT CLIENT: Commonwealth of MA EXP-10+ I have this BA for Commonwealth of MA, the candidate must be local in MA as it is a hybrid role. Looking for a 10 years of exp. and exp. with Tableau or PowerBI and SQL. 12+ month contract. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for documenting existing and future workflows Conduct Gap Analysis on current and future workflows to identify areas for improvement Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and adherence to standards Consult with various stakeholder groups to identify issues and obstacles to effective project implementation Identify, design and implement metrics to project, program and portfolio performance designed to provide transparency across the organization Develop improvement plans in collaboration with PMO team Develop requirements for current and new workflows Author and maintain documentation including workflows, task descriptions, methods and job aids Develop plans and lead teams responsible for implementing identified improvements Conduct meetings with stakeholders to provide status on development and implementation plans Conduct meetings and workshops to identify process improvements Perform other duties related to business analysis as needed Preferred Skills and Experience Demonstrated proficiency in process mapping, business process improvement and project management. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and needs. Demonstrated proficiency in developing and designing metrics. Experience analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement Experience in gathering User Requirements and Needs Assessment. Demonstrated proficiency in Data Visualization. Experience in developing Analytics Reports and Dashboards. Intermediate to Advanced skills in Visio, Excel, Tableau or PowerBI and SQL. Experience documenting value streams, user requirements and job aids 10 years of Business Analyst experience. 5+ years of experience in an IT environment as a Business Analyst. Business Analyst certification (PMI, IIBA, other) is preferred. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred. Ability to manage competing priorities Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
