Role: Network Engineer Security Location: - Plano TX - McLean VA Hybrid role:-3 days Onsite(Tue/Wed & Thur) and 2 days remote Rate : $45- 50/hr C2C Note:-Should have good understanding of Firewall and the rule review process. Job Description: Advanced Knowledge on Firewall platforms (Fortinet, ASA, Palo Alto, Checkpoint- any two are preferred) running routing protocols and next gen features sure as IPS and Application detection rules. Firewall deployment/configuration experience and troubleshooting application connectivity Strong understanding of general networking and design (Firewalls, Routing, Load Balancing, OSI Model, TCP/IP, Packet trace and analysis) Understanding of SMTP (RFC 821/5321), TLS, DNS and related standards Intermediate Linux Sysadmin experience. Must have strong customer handling experience Must have strong experience in handling the escalations.
