| Rust Engineer - Hybrid in Plano, TX - Any Visa Will Work Hi, Please share the profiles for below role. Role: Rust Engineer Location: Hybrid in Plano, TX Duration: 1 year open-ended Contract Note: For Submission and scheduling interview following details are required (LinkedIn; 2 Managerial References (Name, Official email, contact no)) Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): API work but not in a microservices fashion. Voice assistant needs to consume and expose APIs to bring back the results of voice command. Must have 3+ years of experience with Rust. Project Overview: If you buy a new Toyota Tundra or Lexus NX, theres a new voice assistant. Theyre the team that built that voice assistant. Theyre building the next iteration of it for future vehicles. Will be part of a team and work with a director. Needs to be hybrid (local to Dallas) to test their code on the boards, make sure its running on there, put it into production. Voice assistant needs to be capable to keep drivers safe but also extremely helpful. First iteration is multi-media but theyre continuing to look at ways they can expand voice assistant to add feature functionalities. Future ideas are proprietary. Needs to have enough familiarity to come in relatively quickly and jump in. Project acceleration is the point. Confident skill level is what theyre looking for. Production experience is important, supporting their own code, seeing something all the way through. This doesnt have to be a greenfield project but does need to be something that is similar to a feature enhancement at the very least.
