Role: Drupal Developer Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote) Client: SOAZ Position Description: Drupal Coder/Developer will be working on both the front-end development and back-end (~40%/60%)/module development to customize an existing Drupal 10 theme. This role necessitates a mix of coding (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS) and website aesthetics. Applicants should be well-versed in industry developments as well as Drupal content management systems. Applicants must be able to deliver the following customizations to our existing Drupal 10 Theme (Visit azdeq.gov to review). Custom Header, Footer, Search bar Custom Sidebar Block, Image Slider Banner Custom Icon icon-based footers (font awesome Icons and text) with an easy way to add/change icons and text. Be able to change out the existing fonts and colors and set up headers, subheads and other font formatting within the themes CMS. Implement theme changes to existing pages and assist the Business Architect in the clean up of existing pages which may include; text entry, formatting and page source code adjustments with the basic page template. Make additional theme changes, as they arise. Will be working on a team with two other people. Will be a 6 weeks with possible extension based on budget and project needs. No overtime expected. Skills Required: Drupal 10 Theme Coding Customization Experience/Ability within an existing Drupal theme Extremely fluent with HTML5/XHTML and CSS Experience working with PHP with Twig file configurations, as well as JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience developing responsive websites Ability to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery. Strong architectural ability including familiarity with data, display, and information architecture Experience working with Drupal's main modules, such as CTools, Views, Rules. Ability to create custom Drupal modules Strong troubleshooting skills to fix bugs Strong attention to details Excellent organizational and listening skills Must be able to work in a high paced work environment with tight deadlines.
