Role: Sr. Engineer ( Embedded Systems development) Location: Remote JD: Skill Required 9 to 12 years experience in Embedded Systems development based on microcontrollers from NXP, Microchip, TI, and other popular platforms. Expert level understanding in hardware architecture and designs based on MCUs, FPGA Expertise in MATLAB / Simulink based designs. Expertise in mode-based system engineering Expertise in algorithm and controller code development and code generation for Hardware targets based on MCUs. Expertise in integrated (IDEs) development environments with model-based development environments (MBDE) support Expertise in software-in-loop, processor-in-loop development workflows, systems, and peripheral devices interface blocks. Knowledge on in MIL/SIL testing/validation. Responsibilities Perform details circuit analysis, understanding of standard and newly developed design blocks used in Industrial Automation Products Lead and review development of models using MBD approach with MATLAB/Simulink Create and lead reviews for common blocks (Digital and Analog, external Interface and Peripherals, communications etc.,) converted into models based on MATLAB / Simulink tools and MBDE platforms from NXP. Create test strategies and plans to verify models and tune based on product/hardware/functional requirements and specifications. Review test results aligning to key requirements (viz., performance, timing, throughput, CPU resource utilization etc.,) Test code generated from models on hardware targets and tune models as needed.
