Firmware Test Engineer location: Remote Hire Type: Contract JD; As a Firmware Test Engineer, the candidate in this role will be responsible for planning and developing the Firmware Test Strategy Work with the Design, Firmware Engineers to create and review the test cases Use the firmware tools developed by design teams to flash the controllers and components to perform Firmware testing Draft the test plans and meet with Design, Firmware Engineers, and Quality team members to confirm the details of the test plan Develop new test procedures as required for the Toyota developed forklift electrical controls and telematics systems. Schedule tests to meet project milestones while respecting manpower and resource availability Discuss the content of the test plans with lab technicians to develop test fixtures and facilitate testing Candidate should be able to track the test cases and bugs on Azure ADO Acquire and process test data, analyze the results and provide engineering interpretations Should update project related data as required in applicable systems and ensure timely reporting and response to stakeholders Prepare and implement improvements to processes and procedures related to testing, planning, and reporting Analyze and countermeasure testing issues as they arise Thanks and Regards Dinesh || Technical Recruiter KK Associates LLC.
