No less than 10 years of Cloud experience. I would prefer 12 to 15. I NEED STRONG TERRAFORM, EKS, LAMBDA experience. Resumes need to speak to this experience. We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer who specializes in cloud infrastructure management and has a strong focus on migrating from CloudFormation to Terraform, as well as expertise in EKS and Kubernetes troubleshooting. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our cloud infrastructure team, responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and reliable AWS environments. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Migration: You will lead the migration effort from AWS CloudFormation to Terraform. This involves understanding the fundamental differences between the two, and ensuring a smooth transition. Terraform Mastery: Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to create, modify, and remove cloud resources efficiently. Experience with Terraform modules and best practices is a must. Environment Management: Employ Terraform for environment lifecycle management, including the ability to remove environments and resources from the cloud as needed. Secret Key Management: Demonstrate expertise in securely managing sensitive data by implementing best practices for passing secret keys and credentials within Terraform code. Multi-Region Deployment: Deploy and manage resources across multiple AWS regions and accounts using Terraform, optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Compute Resources: Possess a deep understanding of various AWS compute resources such as EC2 instances and AWS Lambda, and the ability to architect and deploy solutions using these services as required. Kubernetes and EKS: Showcase extensive experience in managing Kubernetes clusters, particularly with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), including troubleshooting and optimizing cluster performance. Advanced Monitoring: Implement advanced monitoring and alerting solutions beyond basic metrics like CPU, memory, and storage.
