| From: Shiva Chauhan, TEK Inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hello, Hope you are doing well, Please check the below job description and let me know if you have any suitable candidate for the same: MicroFocus Enterprise Developer - Server Admin Location: Remote WORK - Columbus OH Duration: 3 months Position description MicroFocus Enterprise Developer (MFED) Server Admin: This is a three-month contract with the specific goal of migrating and enhancing our existing workstation based MFED environment to run on a virtual machine (VM) server running Microfocus Enterprise Developer Test Server. Responsibilities of this role include: Hands-on Installation and configuration of MicroFocus Enterprise Developer Test Server (and/or Microfocus Enterprise Developer Server) on a JFS-provided Windows Server Virtual Machine (VM) Develop configuration standards for client machines to connect to MFED Test Server, and work with Endpoint Engineering team to implement and test these standards Document all aspects of the server installation and configuration Complete thorough knowledge transfer with appropriate JFS staff Move applications from existing developer workstations to MFED Test Server and validate proper operation As time allows, optimize and update migrated applications to leverage development best practices Qualifications for this position include: Hands-on knowledge of the Microfocus Enterprise Developer suite of products, including Microfocus Enterprise Developer, Test Server, and Server Hands-on knowledge of installation and configuration of MFED Test Server on a Virtual Machine Hands-on knowledge of configuring and testing connectivity to workstations Hands-on knowledge of application development, troubleshooting, and optimization in the MFED environment. 2+ years of experience with similar work efforts Desired Skills: Responsive, organized, and committed to providing professional, prompt, and accurate services with excellent communications, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to think creatively in analyzing problems and propose practical solutions Demonstrated ability to produce clear, thorough documentation of the required work Demonstrated ability to effectively perform knowledge transfer (KT) to staff members Fill SKILL MATRIX: Skills Number of years experience EG: 5 YEARS Last Used EG: 2023 Hands-on knowledge of the Microfocus Enterprise Developer suite of products, including Microfocus Enterprise Developer, Test Server, and Server- Required 2 years Hands-on knowledge of installation and configuration of MFED Test Server on a Virtual Machine- Required 2 years Hands-on knowledge of configuring and testing connectivity to workstations- Required 2 years Hands-on knowledge of application development, troubleshooting, and optimization in the MFED environment.- Required 2 years Thanks & Regards, Shiva Chauhan IT Recruiter TEK Inspirations LLC : 13573 Tabasco Cat Trail, Frisco, TX 75035 Email: [email protected] Keywords: information technology Ohio Texas |
