To ensure success as an ETL Developer, you should have extensive knowledge of coding languages and data warehouse architecture, and be able to clearly communicate your ideas to the team. ETL Developer Responsibilities: Works with analyst and developers to create ETL mappings. Assist in the development, maintenance, and support of data mart application. Troubleshoot and tune existing data mart applications. Assist in creating new or enhanced components of the data mart. Implement best practices and methodologies and function as a technical expert in the design, development, modification and debugging of data models, databases, etc. Support the data testing and data comparison routines across databases . Assist reporting team in optimizing the ETL process to ensure that business requirements are met. Troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Providing maintenance support. ETL Developer Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Expert with Informatica PowerCenter v9.x and higher. Expert with Informatica Cloud / IICS.
