(we are in the process of migrating away from Extreme/Enterasys to HPE/Aruba and would like to have someone who has experience in both platforms) Clearpass/NAC Security experience in implementing a SOC and/or MDR solutions. They must have thick skin and be passionate about what they do.\\ Position Summary: The position is responsible for providing the GLFHC a secure and robust network environment utilizing industry standards and best practices. Monitors network activity to identify network related issues and/or potential security threats and remediates as necessary. Configures, manages, and maintains corporate firewall, switches and routers. Works with GLFHC partners and vendors to allow for appropriate network access as required for specific projects/initiatives. Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards: Designs, implements, and supports Information Services Security solutions and technologies including monitoring systems, IDS/IPS systems, remote access solutions, authentication methods and other systems relevant to Network infrastructure and Information Security. Monitors network security and performance by analyzing logs and alerts generated by the GLFHC infrastructure systems. Monitor environments to proactively identify areas of concern. Make recommendations and implement solutions upon management approval. Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners. Research technology trends; make recommendations based on research to provide proactive and/or remediation solutions to potential security threats and/or deficiencies. Collaborate with technical staff and Information Services Management to develop and implement systems/device policies maintaining a high performing and secure network. Work with technical staff and Information Services Management in the development, maintenance, and execution of disaster recovery policies and procedures. Monitor and maintain functionality of other technologies as necessary. Make recommendations to System Administrator and Information Services Management for specific training opportunities that will help develop IS staff in their technical, analytical and customer service abilities. Perform 2 nd tier support for Information Services personnel when needed. Assist in installation, training, and support of any and all software used by employees of the health center. Represent the department and the entire organization in a positive and professional manner. Work at building and maintaining a good rapport and cooperative working environment with health center staff and administration. Job Description: Integrate department/workgroup improvement initiatives with GLFHC system-wide projects and strategic aims. Travel between sites will be required. Performs any and all additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Experience 5+ years designing, implementing, and maintaining Secure Network infrastructures. 3+ years implementing Cybersecurity protocols. 3+ years working with Microsoft, Citrix, VMware Operating systems and applications. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security and/or equivalent experience in a technical or business environment. Desired certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent. Skills Thorough understanding of networks and information security best practices and standards. In depth knowledge of IDS/IPS, Malware, DLP, scanning/security testing tools, firewalls, switching, routing, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, EIRGP, VPN and authentication technologies. In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft server environments, including Active Directory and ongoing maintenance, Citrix.
