Position: Sr. UFT Tester Location: NYC Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: Preference 1: If the candidate is around NYC and can commute to the 4 Irving place, NYC office, once a week on Tuesdays, that would be great as all testers report to 4IP twice a week. Preference 2: If we find a great / experienced UFT expert and If the candidate cannot commute onsite, then remote work at US time zones, preferred in this order: Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific . *Assignment Details* The Outage management System team is seeking to engage an UFT functional tester SME to conduct proof of concept with the various UFT versions and determine the right tool for OMS functional tests. The tester / SME is expected to create a set of CORE UFT Functional Automation scripts for the various the OMS modules and demonstrate execution. The UFT tester / SME is also expected to find out suitability of UFT for mobile applications (such as Oracle mobile application or the Mobile work bench) and Web application (Oracle Utility Analytics (OUA)) Reporting Preference. The main requirement here is for the UFT expert who also possess the skills listed in the required section. Skills & Requirements 1. Expert knowledge in UFT One and UFT Developer is required. 2. Capable of programming in C# (JAVA coding is a plus) 3. Expert knowledge in creating Repositories in Azure DevOps linked to UFT. 4. For Repository, understand how to use Git and Source Control 5. Responsible to create a set of selected CORE test cases, UFT automation test scripts for various OMS modules and demonstrate execution. 6. Understand how to use CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines and Jenkins 7. Knowledge in Visual Studio 8. Good Coding Standards and Practice 9. Very good understanding of the below topics in UFT a. Object Identification, Object Repository, Error Handling, Custom Functions, Function Libraries and Script Debugging. 10. Good Proficiency in VB Scripting or any other programming language 11. Basic understanding on how to integrate UFT with Code Management, Test Management and Defect Management tools. 12. Have capability to work on a code-centric approach to UFT Developer, where tests are written and maintained as code.
