Please find the below job description and if you are interested, please forward your resume to [email protected] Role: Oracle Development DBA (Strong Exadata resource) Location: Phoenix, AZ - Hybrid Duration: 6+ month contract Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer engineering or computer science. Needs to have experience with Exadata DB instances which has high volume and high throughput. Experience needs to be with high TPS systems. Proven work experience as a Database administrator. Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation. Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL. Experience with DBA front-end and back-end tools, excellent problem-solving skills, Hands-on experience with Oracle database management. Must have development DBA experience with physical designing of tables, index, etc. Must have experience managing Exadata. Oracle DBA should manage a companys database system to maximize performance and efficiency. Responsibilities: Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software. Creating storage database structures with high-level security features. Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company. Training users on how to access the information in the database. Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity. Creating autonomous database backups and recovery. Monitor and optimize performance of the database. Allocate system storage and plan future storage needs. Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading. Capacity Planning and Performance Monitoring.
