Position: GIS Lead, No-H1B Location: Hybrid Manhattan NYC Duration: Long Term MOI: Phone and Video The program is seeking someone who has a strong delivery, designer, and developer background with the ESRI GIS software. This individual will be partnering with the client GIS team lead and will have a supporting client junior developer on their team. This person is also responsible for assisting with project management and supporting project deployment of the GIS strategy and the ESRI GIS software. A person with a background in the Transit industry and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). Role Responsibilities: Recommend development strategies, integration and improvement projects to ensure continued, efficient operation of all mission critical software. Recommend, design, develop, support and administer GIS systems required to support day-to-day operations. Maintain requirements and validate data for device location information (latitude/longitude), facility drawings added to the map, map feature styling, base map layer selection and requirements, common place name and special address database entry, ensuring map display consistency across workstations and agencies, Coordinate problem resolution with internal technicians, external contractors and agency operations staff as necessary to ensure close out of all problem tickets Technical Experience Required: Experience in GIS web technologies is required, including ESRI JavaScript 4.X API, XML, JSON, GEOJSON, JavaScript, HTML, Web services, Angular, NPM, SOAP/REST, Visual Studio Code, Oracle Spatial. Demonstrated experience implementing asset management systems and/or work order management systems such as VueWorks, Cartegraph, AgileAssets, Maximo, Cityworks, Lucity, Infor Hansen, Infor EAM, etc. Keywords: |
