Title: Data Quality Engineer Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid) Client: Hexaware/TFS Mandatory Skills: Job Description: Key Skills - Trillium , Data Quality Overall experience of 5-8 years with strong database background in SQL etc. 5-8 experience in an IT Quality role. Ability to work independently or within groups on projects assigned 4-5 years experience with data quality tools such as Trillium, etc. Requires in-depth knowledge, understanding and analytical thought. Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of several areas within IT Quality and has a good understanding of the industry. Strong understanding of testing processes. In depth understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle and solid experience in several phases of systems development, preferably in testing program management. Must demonstrate confidence in their abilities. Strong understanding of Database concepts. Strong understanding of Quality best practices and concepts. Responsibilities: Assist design, develop, test, and deploy quality process using tools such as Trillium. Collaborate with business users to identify attributes that require object data quality and corresponding business rules. Profile data, analyze user requirements and translate and apply business rules to quality rules. Contribute to corporate data management best practices and implementation methodologies. Create functional and technical documents e.g. data quality architecture flows, data profiling results, test plans etc. Documents findings and performs root cause analyses. Recommends solutions and improvements to existing standards and procedures; collaborates with other areas in technology to develop new standards and procedures. Ensures all corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed. Gathers, maintains, and reports on quality metrics. Acts as advisor and mentor for junior members of the team.
