Role: O365/Microsoft Office 365 Compliance Consultant

Location:

100% Remote

Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

O365 Compliance Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' existing O365 environments to identify compliance gaps and potential risks.

Labeling and Classification: Develop and implement data classification and labeling schemes to ensure data is appropriately categorized and protected based on sensitivity.

DLP Policy Design: Create and configure DLP policies to prevent unauthorized access, sharing, and leakage of sensitive information.

Policy Enforcement: Monitor and enforce compliance policies and procedures to safeguard data integrity and privacy.

Incident Response: Develop incident response plans and provide guidance on handling compliance-related incidents and breaches.

Custom Solutions: Customize and optimize O365 compliance tools and features to meet specific client requirements.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation, including compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Training and Education: Train client staff on O365 compliance best practices and tools usage.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure clients' compliance strategies are current and effective.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in designing and implementing data classification and labeling in O365 environments.

Expertise in creating and configuring DLP policies within O365.

Familiarity with compliance regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and others.

Strong understanding of O365 compliance tools, including Security & Compliance Center.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate) are a plus.
