Position: Greenplum Data Architect Location- Remote Required : Need Greemplum architect with large data set migration Optional : Collibra, Snowflake Responsibilities: Gather business requirements for Greenplum database migration to Snowflake. Assess legacy Greenplum database, identify data sources, schema designs, and data quality issues. Translate business needs into technical migration requirements. Document findings and communicate technical aspects to non-technical stakeholders. Define data transformation rules and logic for migration. Collaborate on migration roadmap, phases, timelines, and milestones. Create detailed documentation of requirements, specifications, and user stories. Bridge communication between business and technical teams. Identify and mitigate migration risks and challenges. Maintain regular stakeholder communication and incorporate feedback. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field. Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst with data migration involvement. Strong analytical skills, data modeling, and ETL process familiarity. Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts. Detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in documentation tools and project management. Familiarity with Greenplum and Snowflake technologies is a plus. Previous data-related projects or consulting experience is advantageous.
