II.CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/ Preferred Experience 8 Required Proven experience in Database Administration / Database Design & Development using Azure/SQL Server databases in an IaaS/PaaS environment. Proficient in data migration and conversion from on-premises Oracle to Microsoft Azure SQL Server. 8 Required Performs highly complex data management functions at an enterprise level; integrates, upgrades, and manages database environments; plans, organizes, tests and executes migration of databases from development to production environments. 8 Required Experience must include developing stored procedures/triggers/scripts/SQL and optimizing/tuning SQL in enterprise-class production and development/test environments. 8 Required Implementing and maintaining data security protocols; configuring database authorization & authentication using platform and database tools; configures object-level permissions; implements data masking; implements compliance controls for sensitive data/PII 8 Required Experience configuring and monitoring activity and performance for Azure SQL at the infrastructure, server, service, and database levels 8 Required Experience configuring and monitoring activity and performance including QueryStore; resolving production and operational problems; monitoring utilization and managing available database resources; all the above in order to optimize and tune performance. 8 Required Configure storage resources; configure compute resources for scaling; analyzes data resource and server capacity and forecasts growth requirements; recommends server, hardware and software upgrades and enhancements to meet long-term needs. 8 Required Provides enterprise-level short and long-term planning advice on technical enterprise database and systems management and utilization issues. 8 Required Experience with T/SQL, SQL, DML, DDL and DCL to debug and resolve issues. 8 Required Experience with RDBMS admin/console tools such as TOAD, SSMS and/or SQL Developer. 5 Required Experience documenting data migration processes, CI/CD process, ETL pipelines, day-to-day operations. 5 Required Configuring data integration and batch processing solutions in Azure Data Factory and/or SSIS; monitoring data ingestion processes and performance; review query plans and identify problem areas in execution plans. 5 Required Demonstrated experience leading and evaluating the implementation of project requests to ensure efficient use of server/database resources.
