When submitting ensure you explain how your candidate is ranked with their skill in the following: MVCusing .net Core (which version), VueJs, Bootstrap, JQuery, Javascript, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, IIS, SOA/Microservices, CI/CDIdeal candidate would also have experience workingin public sector but not required Candidates must pass background check, drug screen Project Description: The project is to design, develop, and implement the Louisiana Gaming Operations Licensing Database (LA-GOLD) system on behalf of the LouisianaDepartment of Public Safety (DPS) and the Office of Technology Services (OTS). The LA-GOLD system will replace multiple legacy applications used by the DPS Gaming, Licensing and Enforcement Division. These legacy applications to be replaced include, but arenot limited to: The Louisiana Integrated Gaming History Tracking System (LIGHTS). LSP Video Gaming system. Indian Gaming System. Central Gaming Registry. Casino Licensee Database. Gaming Revenue Reports. Land Based and Riverboat Gaming System. The goal of this project is to deliver a new solution that will provide more efficient and effective functionality to staff and to the sand businesses that utilize Gaming, Licensing and Enforcement Division services. Examples of the DPS processes and workflows that will be incorporated into LA-GOLD include: Intake, processing and investigation of applicants for licensure or permitting in the Video Poker and Casino Gaming industries. This includes licensing for Riverboat Casinos, land- based Casinos, slot machines,and video poker locations. Corporate investigations to determine suitability of corporate casino and gaming supplier applicants. Ability to monitor and ensure licensed Video Poker devices are communicating with the required state central monitoring system. Ability to oversee Indian Gaming establishments and co-regulate the gaming industry on Indian reservations. Submission of investigation findings to the Louisiana Gambling Control Board (LB). Ability to manage and track compliance audits on each casino. Ability to perform and track financial suitability investigations to aid the LB. Functionality to facilitate and track audits by the Audit Operations Unit which includes two groups: Video Poker and Internal Controls/New Games and New Equipment (ICC). Job Responsibilities: Web development with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and HTML. Designs, codes, compiles, tests, debugs and documents new and existing web applications, maintenance and support of existing application. Performing quality assurance reviews and testing on new code. Participates in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies. Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship and guidance to client's personnel for all requested work. Monitor, review and audit performance of the customer-agencys replacement software and make performance improvements. Required Skills, Qualification and Experience: 5+ years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas: C# ASP.NET Core Entity Framework 2+ years of experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment. 1+ years of experience leading a development team of two (2) or more developers. Preferred Skills, Qualification and Experience: 2+ years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas: Recent experience developing applications in Model View Controller (MVC) architecture using .NET Core 2.x or 3.x VueJS Bootstrap JQuery Javascript SQL Server (T-SQL) SSIS/SSRS IIS Distributed Design Systems (SOA/Microservices) DevOps Practices (CI/CD Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
