Role: Sr. Power BI Engineer Location: Pleasanton, CA (Local Only local cadidates) Note: only share with me independent visa holders and no h4 ead and share local candidates Job description: At least 12+ years of experience required. I. 5+ years of experience as a BI developer. II. 3+ years of experience as a PowerBI developer. III. Good knowledge of SQL for validation. IV. Knowledge of data modelling, including different schemas in data warehouse like star schema vs snowflake. V. Experience with development for high performance including query folding, optimized joins, excluding unnecessary columns, etc. VI. Deep understanding of DAX queries and functions, including hands-on development. VII. Deep knowledge of Query Analyzer and how to debug slow visualizations for performance enhancements. Nice to Have: I. Experience with development and debugging in DAX Studio. II. Storytelling mindset (explain, enlighten, engage). III. Experience with how to blend data and narrative in the visuals in an engaging way.
