| From: Ankit Kumar, Tek Inspirations [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Title: SSL Security Engineer Location: - 100% REMOTE Visa : GC, USC MOI : Skype Security Engineer Job Description: Seeking an experienced (8+ years) Security Engineer for a role on our Security Engineering Team with a strong background in supporting Microsoft Windows Servers and associated systems in a virtualized environment. Duties will include but are not limited to: Troubleshooting and resolving (Tier 3) issues for Windows, Linux, networking, authentication, and applications. Generating, reviewing, and recommending remediation of vulnerability reports for OS/DB and web application scans. Creation, deployment, and management of SSL certificates using Open SSL. Tracking and monitoring the expiration of SSL Certificates. Management of Active Directory Group Policies and membership. Use of JIRA, ServiceNow, ManageEngine Applications Manager, vCenter, NetIQ DRA and GPA. Tracking of work via Jira ticketing and Kanban board. Install and maintain applications according to vendor directions and security requirements. Provide Security Engineering support to applications throughout their lifecycle to ensure that technical security controls as required by the Agency and NIST 800-53, Rev 5 and other NIST requirements are implemented. Understanding of load balancers (Citrix ADC/VPX) and how they work to provide operational support. Provide operational support to them as needed/directed. Use Dell/Nutanix/Cohesity/NetApp to troubleshoot and monitor tasks. Create and maintain technical system documentation, Visio diagrams, and SOPs. Creating, revising, and maintaining documentation for various processes and job functions. Includes the attending and recording of technical meetings, and review of those recordings to generate useful and accurate documentation to be used by the team. Inventory reporting and management. Utilizing the Google Suite of applications for documentation, scheduling and attending meetings, and communicating with a team in a virtualized environment. Organizational skills with a focus on documentation, tracking, and reporting. Identifying and remediating potential security risks and issues in both processes, software applications, and workflows. Desired: Web server knowledge and hands-on experience (Apache, Tomcat, IIS). Desired Certifications: DevSecOps Foundation ITIL Foundation, ITIL Intermediate, ITIL Expert (one of the following) Security+ CISSP GIAC Certifications. Keywords: database green card |
