Designs, documents, codes, tests, and debugs programs using PL/SQL, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Oracle, .NET, C##, and other necessary languages and tools. This position is responsible for report creation with report writing tools, primarily concentrated with relational data bases such as Statistical Analysis Software (SAS), and data mining large volumes of data using query tools such as Advanced Query Tools (AQT) or Structured Query Language (SQL) at an intermediate level; Maintenance of reports in response to individual and/or business unit requests; Analyzes system problems; Meets and collaborates with the PMO team, internal stakeholders, and Business units to understand data, information, and analytic needs of their Business units; Uses relevant tools to develop the right solution to meet customer data needs; Monitors the performance of module-specific reporting inventory and take corrective action as necessary to optimize performance and mitigate negative consequences for customers and production servers; Regularly review reports to determine implications for respective modules and data artifacts; Test applications, analyze statistics and train the end-users on how to use the report writing software. Skills Required Experience with reporting applications and packages; Mid level application development experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL database access methods, .NET framework/Core, Angular/TypeScript, C#, data contracts and data serialization; Git, Teleric, Quickbase, Microsoft Power suite of applications Skills Preferred Knowledge of multiple programming languages, database, software frameworks, management systems, and development platforms; agile development process; database SQL queries; oracle applications design; no code/low code development (Quickbase/PowerApps); data structures and algorithms; debugging knowledge; source control; Cloud platforms, report development (Power BI), Telerik, Microsoft Excel. Experience Required Four (4) or more years of demonstrated experience with relational database queries and transactions, including stored procedures Demonstrated experience designing, creating, testing, and implementing complex reports using a variety of reporting tools Ability to translate user requirements into functional & design specifications Experience Preferred No Code/Low Code development (Quickbase/Power Apps), report development Power BI, Telerik, SQL Education Required Bachelor's degree plus four (4) years of programming, analysis, coding, and report writing experience; Certification in Microsoft platforms/SQL Education Preferred Additional Information Ability to evaluate stakeholders needs and apply creative reporting solutions to the business problems; works independently and in collaboration with stakeholders, the PMO and other development team members; open to ideas and adapts to change; develops solutions and processes to meet needs of the agency; learn department policies and procedures; balances, prioritizes and organizes multiple tasks and projects with voluminous data; able to work in a fast paced, busy IT environment.
