Responsible for documentation of the system, conducting unit tests, peer code reviews and maintenance of internally developed applications, and evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or relevant work experience 5-8 years of Python development in a professional setting, specifically with back-end processes and API services using Python Must have experience developing back-end processes and API services using Python Excellent understanding of RESTful Architecture style. Excellent understanding of Python programming mode and required libraries to develop REST API Services. Candidate must possess the ability to take a methodical approach to evaluate various libraries with pros and cons to meet business / technical requirements. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate their understanding of the library that were used in their projects Fully involved in technical grooming, implementing, and maintaining solutions (examples include: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code, and Git would all be considered) for REST Python services and continuous deployment.
