(50% traveling required at client site) (waiting to hear on location) Role and Responsibilities: Client is seeking multiple Senior Business Analyst or Supply Chain Business Managers to support a transformative ERP implementation project. In this role you will work with the customer business users and learn on-the-job about their various SCM business functions. You will play an active role in representing the business functions during the ERP project. The role will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain Operations. Key Responsibilities: Process definition Understand the current business processes and bring clarity to how processes should work in the future state. Understand current business problems that need to be addressed and discuss it with the implementation team to arrive at the possible solutions. Change Management Implementation of a new ERP system will result in reengineered processes that may have little or no resemblance to the existing processes. The business analyst should support the change process by communicating the need for the change, participating in project meetings, and preparing users for the changes ahead. Requirement clarifications Represent business functions by specifying functional requirements spanning reporting, module functionality, access rights and non functional requirements such as performance criteria. Help create a shared understanding of the requirements between the implementation team and the business stakeholders. Design reviews Participate in design reviews of configurations, proposed integrations, reports and any other extensions or custom functionality. Data cleansing and enrichment Help extract existing data from the legacy applications and work with the implementation team to understand the proposed structure of the data so that it can be uploaded to the new ERP system. Address any gaps by cleansing and enriching the extracted data by coordinating with the business stakeholders and end users. Testing Identify test scenarios that represent the business functions and help validate the requirements. Drive and coordinate with the end users and business stakeholders for User Acceptance testing. Execute test cases and uncover any defects. Requirements: 10+ years of experience as a Supply Chain Business Analyst, Supply Chain Business Managers or Oracle Business Analysts Prior experience in large and transformative ERP Implementation projects as a business analyst, change manager, business manager or product owner. Experience with at least a few of the core Supply Chain processes such as Procurement, Supply Planning, Master Data (Items, Suppliers and Customers), Costing, Contract Manufacturing, Inventory and Order Management. Prior experience with Oracle EBS (on-premises) or Oracle Fusion Cloud is highly desirable. Experience with Order Management and Global Trade operations is a plus. Keywords: information technology |
