Develop and implement best practices for team members to consistently execute deployments and establish a "rename and archive" process for SQL changes in Snowflake. 2. Implement a peer-review process for code and create basic tests to ensure code quality and prevent disruptions in the PROD environment. 3. Establish a Sprint review or similar workflow where business approvals are collected for changes. 4. Reduce deployment time by automating scripts through Github actions, enabling more deployments. 5. Create an additive deployment process that renames and hides previous versions of data pipelines instead of removing and replacing them. 6. Develop an automated rollback process to easily revert changes in case of issues post-deployment. 7. Incorporate code review into the deployment process to ensure code sanity checks. 8. Design automated tests to ensure deployment success and mitigate the risk of bugs in the PROD environment. 9. Integrate ServiceNow signals to automatically document deployments in the change management platform. 10. Demonstrate a safe way to update PROD systems while supporting more deployments and embracing Agile methodologies.
