| Job Title: Sr Back-End Engineer (Python and Django) Duration: Long term Location: Richardson, TX Hybrid Schedule: Tues/Wed/Thurs in office and Mon/Fri are remote. Skillset: o Team supports clients enterprise applications. o Programming Language: Python 3.8 o Framework: Django 2.2 and above, Django Rest Framework o Database: Postgres o Containerization: Docker, Docker compose o CICD: Jenkins, Apache Mesos, Azure DevOps pipelines o Source Control: Azure ADO o Templating Engine: Jinja 2 o Python Libraries: pandas, numpy o Lint Standard: PEP8 o API Testing: Dredd o Python Unit test Framework: Coverage, pytest Day to Day Responsibilities: o Implements RESTful Web Services with modern technologies and frameworks such as Python (Django), Node.js, Express o Under broad direction and supervision, develops, maintains, and enhances client systems as well as designs and develops new features. o Develops, maintains, enhances, and tests client systems of moderate to high complexity. o Serves as the primary technical point of contact on client engagements of moderate to high complexity and of high value to the organization. o Involved with the investigation and resolution of complex data, system, and software issues in the production environment. o Under broad direction, designs and implements strategic partner integrations. o Participates in the specification and design of new features at client or business request. o Participates in the evaluation of new platforms, tools, and technologies. o Develops and maintains internal tools. o Performs other duties as assigned. Top 5 Must have Skills: o Django AND Python o Hands-on experience in Object Oriented Design/Development (OOD), Model View Control (MVC) Design Pattern, Model Pattern, Test Driven Development (TDD), Observer Design Pattern, Singleton Design Pattern, Module Design Pattern. o Experience working with PostgreSQL o Possess extensive experience with Version Control systems and tools such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps. o Strong focus on Responsive Web Design and use Agile Software Development for a better workflow and results.
