Role: Senior QA Tester(Experience in Azure DevOps and Salesforce) Client : Government of Washington Location : Olympia,Washington Looking for resources who can go to office on short notice Job Description: 5-7 years of recent experience in leading and/or managing software quality assurance testing efforts for highly complex IT software replacements. Proven ability to ensure that all testing activities are carried out in accordance with defined testing standards. Advanced proficiency reading and analyzing system documentation, including functional, non-functional, and technical requirements/specifications. Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to understand the system requirements, system design, and impact of any/all system modifications. Advanced proficiency in test planning including defining test strategy, test goals and objectives. Expert knowledge of both manual and automated testing methodologies and develop testing approach based on analysis of system documentation and requirements. Experience determining the work breakdown structure (WBS) for all required testing activities. Advanced proficiency in identifying testing resource needs and assigning test activities according to required skill level, availability, and capacity. Proven ability to prioritize test cases and schedule testing activities. Proven ability to create test cases and test data used for both manual and automated testing. Advanced proficiency in designing automated test scripts that are reusable. Proven ability to execute all test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect. Proven ability to carry out regression testing and manage the defect management process. Proven ability to design testing scenarios for usability testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). Advanced proficiency facilitating usability testing with business and analyze, and report results and findings to the Development team. Proven ability to interact with project stakeholders at all levels whenever required. Proven ability to oversee all testing activities carried out by the team. Proven ability to ensure continuous test process improvement using defined test metrics. Proven ability to develop and maintain a test traceability matrix. Proven ability to prepare status reports of testing activities and update stakeholders regularly. Strong experience in Azure DevOps (ADO) test management tool. Experience in Salesforce. Testing Certification, Agile/Scrum/SaFe certification is a plus. Experience working within, or assisting, STATE agencies.
