Title: Land Business Analyst with Oil and Gas Location: Houston, TX (Day 1 Onsite) Duration: Long term contract Must Have: Oil and Gas with land back ground and understanding of Lease, Joint ventures, division of interest (DOI), working knowledge of Quorum Land suite. Hands on working knowledge of apps like ODL / On demand Land ,QLS / Quorum Land suite, OnBase (Hyland product), QGIS. Description: Interfacing with business users and key stakeholders to identify process requirements through such activities as workshops, surveys, small group meetings, etc. Identifying opportunities for process improvements that drive reduced effort, lower cycle times, increased throughput, and improved overall process performance. Working with developers and other technical resources to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Assist with testing, training, and troubleshooting for new and existing application functionality. Assist with project prioritization, feature and user story definition, story sizing, User Acceptance Testing, and other system development active. In addition, the land BA should have experience with the Land process for Oil and Gas, including: Managing NRI(Net Revenue Interest) and WI(Working Interest) throughout the well lifecycle. Understand the calculation of royalty payments and the allocation of operational expenses for new and existing wells. Understand the management of leases and mineral rights as it relates to oil and gas production.
