Reach me at [email protected]) if you want to apply for the below role: Position - Lead Engineer in Java + DevOps Location: Hartford, CT Hybrid T ype - Long Term Pay Rate Between $60- $69/HR on C2C Job Summary: Develop, create, modify computer applications software, and analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Duties to include: design and develop solutions that meet enterprise standards within development and operational guardrails; develop secure and high performance code according to industry and enterprise coding standards and practices; source code, environment, deployment, and release management; test, quality assurance, and defect fixes; assign and manage work for a globally distributed engineering team; adhere to stakeholders requirements, timelines, and budgeting requirements; sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis, and review; assist in troubleshooting production issues, triage production incidents and identify the root causes, including conducting retrospectives for continuous improvement; regularly monitor and review the quality standards, resolve engineering roadblocks, enable teams to achieve common quality goals, and improve the overall quality of the product; engage and collaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall program; share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business, managers, and technical resources in clear, concise language that is appropriate to the target audience; participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate; stay abreast of leading edge technologies in the industry; and conduct proof of concepts to evaluate the feasibility of implementing new tools, technology, and requirements. Top 3 Must Haves: 1. Core JAVA 2. JAVA FSE 3. Dev Ops Experience : 8 to 10yrs. Required Skills: 8+ years of overall Software Engineering experience Experience leading an engineering team of 5+ team members. Experience writing code to integrate with back-end systems and web services. Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools Jenkins Pipeline, GitHub Deploy and/or Cucumber) Experience with DevOps/Cloud technologies Experience in an Agile environment Experience designing, developing, and delivering software at an enterprise scale. 4-year bachelors degree in software engineering from a recognized university or equivalent Proficient in using Integrated Development Tools such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, Jenkins along with Source Control Systems such as git Strong understanding of web services including SOAP, REST. Nice to have skills: Quality Engineering / Software Development Engineer in Test experience Salesforce Lightning Development Experience US Healthcare Experience Exposure to CRM, Service, Issue Management applications Full Stack development experience using Java or .NET technology stacks. Experience using one or more of the following tools: Jenkins, Open Shift Masters degree in computer science or any technology related area from a recognized university or equivalent Roles & Responsibilities: Interacting and working across the team with Architects, QA, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and design/develop end to end solution. Experience in all phases of SDLC and STLC Hands on development using Salesforce, Java Spring or similar technology. Use Agile (SCRUM) and Hands-on with CA Agile Central (Rally) or other Agile tools to manage and track development activities. Source code, environment, deployment, and release management, troubleshooting and triaging.
