From: Jyoti, KPG99 [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Details below: Client: USAA Visa: GC/GC-EAD/H4EAD/ USC Location: Remote Details: req updates as of 10/17 Want to put a focus on React. It's a priority above React Native as they feel they can train a well rounded React developer to do work in React Native. They are ramping up Web so React Project Scope: Android App Noblr there is an iOS and an Android app. The team uses React Native / React + JavaScript. 95% of the Development is React Native / JavaScript. For the near future, they are launching TONS of new features using Functional Programming. Project 1 In-app Endorsements (add/remove drivers, adjust coverage, etc.) expected duration of project is 6 months Project 2 In the pipelineIn-app claims (taking pictures of the incident, providing details etc.) not even in the planning phase, but also expects to be a 6 month project **Both are form heavy** Future state also holds creating a good testing suite Selling Points for Candidates: VERY tight knit teamthere is a lot of opportunity to take ownership of the work that they do. You have a chance to take app dev end to end where you would focus on design, development, testing and deployment. Team Size & Breakdown: Mobile App team is larger, but they break off into Android and iOS. Android has just Matt + 1 other engineer that works 75% on the app and 25% on the webiOS is 3 people Development Methodology: Agile semi-informal where they use a Kanban board Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): React / JavaScript Redux for state management Testing skills have to have Unit testing skills ***Android Native using React Native would be REALLY nice to have, but they are totally fine with someone who has React** Nice-to-Haves: Saga Fetch for API calls Telematics experience this is a VERY ambitious project that they have, so great if they have it and no biggie if not - - GitHub and GitLab |
