Location : Hybrid, Red Bank, NJ2 days/week onsite near Red Bank NJ Position Type: Contract Job Description With a focus on ISU FICA (Finance and Contract Accounting) with Customer Invoices, Accounting Documents, Receivables, and Payable, the CIS FICA Lead will assist in developing the Client's next-generation solutions. For SAP ISU Contract Accounting, this entails building practical solutions and working together with other IT departments, vendors, and business partners. Additionally, the CIS FICA Lead will oversee making functional design decisions and ensuring compliance with business, security, and IT architectural best practices. Major Responsibilities : Manage all aspects of the ISU FICA implementation process, including functional build, high-level and detailed design, testing, and completion Lead functional activities, assessing, and designing accounting solutions for utilities while implementing ISU Accounting solutions for SAP FICA/ISU Accounting for Billing and Payment solutions with service-oriented architecture Define enterprise structure for contract account receivables and payable, configuration of billable items (BIT) classes, billing types, billing process, sub-processes Configure invoicing, billing grouping/summarization, background jobs for mass processing of billing and invoicing Manage SAP FICA sub ledger integration with SAP General ledger within SAP FICA system and Integration of SAP FICA with SAP ECC Work together to develop solutions with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Billing, and Customer Service, to understand their needs including defining best practices and standards for the Development Team's operations Provide support for maintaining technical and business master data and the integration points that enable the IS-U data model. Required Qualifications: 10 years+ of SAP experience including at least 5+ years on FICA Accounting with full SDLC experience to implement solutions, including core template design / build / validation, roll-out and support Hands on Utility industry experience with SAP IS-U FICA (Finance & Contract Accounting), IS-U Billing, Invoicing and collections is preferred Experience managing teams in the deployment of the SAP IS-U Contracts Accounting module for residential, commercial, and industrial class clients in electric, gas, and combined utilities Sound knowledge and understanding of FICA configuration related to Contract Accounting, Payment hierarchy, clearing rules, Dunning, Security Deposits, Payment Clearings, Open item management, Tax, Installment plans, Returns, Refund Process, Write offs, etc. Possesses solid functional knowledge of SAP IS-U FICA, as well as its integration with billing and invoicing, device management, and the IS-U Master Data model Works in coordination with JDE systems and understands the integrated SAP landscape with other applications Experience creating system requirements, implementing support processes, and defining systems strategy Experience with the process of quarterly upgrades, testing upgrades, and system updates from the production environment Familiar with utility sector to integrate cloud to cloud and on-premises systems utilizing CPI and SAP business processes Desired Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience: Experience with Maximo, SEW, Oracle ERP and SAP C4C, SMC, S/4 HANA Understanding of SAP CIS functionalities and processes to meet the needs of the utility industry Experience with CEAMS, PNC/SEW/WU, I Energy, FCS/Powder Springs or similar apps Multiple project experience with ISU Keywords: sfour information technology New Jersey |
