Job Title: BT EPM Architect Location: Boston or Atlanta (Hybrid) Contract Job Summary: We are seeking an Endpoint Privilege Management Architect to join our growing Personal Productivity Tribe You will be working in an Architecture, Engineering, and Operations capacity to enhance the security, performance, and stability of our endpoints inclusive of Windows and Mac devices and VDI. By thoroughly understanding business and security requirements you will help protect and empower our clients. Required Skills: Beyond Trust PAM Job Description Apply industry and companys security knowledge, policies, standards, and practices. Document support procedures to minimize end-user impact and ensure BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM), also formerly called Avecto acts as a transparent security control for our end user population. Act as a third line technical escalation for 2nd line resolver teams. Proactive and reactive problem root cause analysis and resolution Continuously improve services based on input from a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders and technology teams as well as the IT industry at large. Collect, analyze EPM event data, and provide meaningful recommendations to improve the current policy configuration Analyze end-user feedback, update and test EPM policies accordingly. Generating and maintain documentation such as technical requirement specification, use cases, architecture Visio diagrams, brain maps, roadmap, technical strategy presentations, High level design and low-level design for BeyondTrust Privilege Manager infrastructure Ensure SLAs and KPIs are measured, and targets met. Prepare and review regular status reports and statistics Maintaining API integration solutions based on PowerShell/Bash/Python scripting, SQL language, REST, XML, etc. Maintain the BeyondTrust product throughout its lifecycle. Extensive design and implementation experience in BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Manager involving Windows and MAC devices. Critical Thinking you analyse facts, evidence, observations, and arguments to form hypothesis and practical approaches to testing them Well-honed communication and influencing skills, including the ability to articulate complexity at an audience appropriate level and to negotiate and gain consensus amongst all involved parties where competing priorities exist Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to clearly define the problem and identify potential solutions that consider its broader impact Effectively handling difficult and stressful situations with poise, tact and patience, while demonstrating a sense of urgency. Working in a scaled Agile and matrix-managed environment with self-sufficiency, strong work management, organizational and planning skills Working in scaled Agile teams IT and Security related certifications (CISSP, CCSP, ITIL Foundations etc.) Avecto / BeyondTrust Privilege Manager Certification or equivalent Strong knowledge on enterprise configuration management tools such as Group Policy Configuration, SCCM, Intune and JAMF Implementing and maintaining SAAS solutions and integrations Roles & Responsibilities Relevant bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) Level C2 English proficiency as demonstrated by IELTS 7+, TOEFL iBT 94+, TOEIC 901+, CAMBRIDGE CPE, or comparable demonstrated proficiency. Solid understanding of fundamental security concepts, with a strong emphasis on Windows OS and MacOS security. Practical understanding and experience of Windows and Mac configuration management tools and techniques. Thorough understanding of Windows Services and macOS LaunchD. Functional knowledge of interpreting logs, diagnostics and crash reports as well as an understanding of the Unified Logging subsystem on macOS and Event Logs on Windows. Hands on experience with Admin rights technologies such as BeyondTrust, Thycotic or Cyberark Hands on experience with application control technologies such as BeyondTrust, Windows Defender, Windows AppLocker, Digital Guardian EPM deployment and support experience, along with a good understanding of use-cases for implementing endpoint privilege management policies. Experience with workflow automation, ideally with Bash/PowerShell/Python or other tools and programming languages Strong data analysis skillsets with SQL, Excel Integration experience with third party tools like, SIEM systems, MFA, ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, enterprise monitoring and alerting using SNMP.
