Monitor automation messages for database exception conditions. Analyze application and database performance problems. Responsible for the creation, scheduling, and support of database backup and maintenance processes. Develop strategies, processes and best practices in ADABAS systems programming. Establishing policies and procedures pertaining to database management, disaster recovery, product and database security, maintenance, and utilization Perform verification for database maintenance upgrades. Provide support and assistance for the database engineering groups for Weekend work. Implement changes to database subsystem variables. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of professional experience in ADABAS and related products for administration and systems programming support.
