Title: Unix/Linux Administration- Level 3(local only ) Position id : MOR2JP00013607 Location: 6655 Town Square, Alpharetta, Alpharetta, GA, USA, 30005/ Hybrid Duration : 12 months contract on c2c Hours may vary based on project, start time can be 11AM and will need some weekend work This role is for a Unix L3 specialist to the Unix Critinfra Support Team with the following responsibilities: Proving SRE Support to the Firms Critical Infrastructure (Oxygen Systems) in Follow-The-Sun model Provide On-call support, weekend project work Proactive health & hygiene tasks to maintain operational stability and compliance for risk & control programs to ensure the production environment is not put at risk. Collaborate with engineering teams to test and certify new hardware & software products. Engage with clients to understand business demand, needs & support during outage scenarios. Onboard new UNIX assets for growth or large programs such as new datacenter build outs. 6+ years of Unix/Linux Administration Enterprise Level Experience in large, distributed environment. Experience in Incident & Change Management and Reporting In depth knowledge Linux (Red-hat) with good knowledge in Solaris. Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP and associated technologies (NFS, NIS, DNS, DHCP) Detailed knowledge of Unix system monitoring and reporting Detailed knowledge of Server OS & Firmware upgrade Detailed knowledge of NTP/Time Keeper, Time synchronization technologies In depth knowledge in vulnerability assessment and server patching. Programming level knowledge of , Perl/Python.
