Note: Contractor will be mostly remote but MUST be willing to report onsite in Jackson when needed. Do NOT submit remote candidates. The ReEmploy USA Consortium (RUC) is seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Manager with excellent team building and negotiating skills to head the Consortium PMO. The RUC is a group of 3 states that share a common Unemployment Insurance system. The PMO serves as the glue to the Consortium working between states to ensure that all are getting the support needed and to make sure that things run smoothly from a business and technical prospective. Requirements: 12 years experience leading other project managers, business analysts or other technical positions 12 years experience in Scrum Kanban or other Agile methodology 6 years experience in contract administration 6 years experience in a technical discipline such as software development or infrastructure Bachelors degree in a technical related field preferred 2 years experience in managing projects for more than one customer such as in a Consortium or joint venture. Project Management Certification The PMO answers to the Consortium Executive Committee (CEC) conducting duties that include: The administration of approved policies and procedures. The coordination of the delivery of products and services. Facilitation of communications between the Governing Boards and Committees for the Consortium. Facilitation of dispute resolution related to the delivery of services between members or providers. Assistance with vendor identification, products, and services procurement. Assist in modifying/creating Consortium documentation such as Statements of Work (SOW), Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Generation of routine reports on risks, issues, member progress against goals, and any other reporting assigned by the CEC or defined in approved processes and procedures; and Coordination and facilitation of CEC meetings. Provide support services in administering approved policies and procedures. Develop and/or enhance policies and procedures as required and subject to CEC approval; and Escalate challenges regarding member adherence to policies and procedures to the CEC.
