| Oorwin Email Hello Only Locals, 10 + Yrs Must Position : Product Owner with Drupal Must Location : Chicago IL ( Locals Only ) Duration : Long Term Contract Job Description : Technical Product Owner with specific expertise in Drupal, WordPress, CI/CD to lead the development of innovative and user-friendly brand websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both technical aspects and product management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality web solutions tailored to our business needs. Responsibilities: Define product vision and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams. Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on tasks that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to all customers. Lead the development of Drupal and WordPress platforms, ensuring best practices, performance, and security. Oversee the implementation of necessary plugins and modules and handle any technical issues or bugs related to Drupal and WordPress. Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, development, and marketing to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Communicate product progress, key issues, and resolution strategies effectively to all stakeholders. Elicit, analyze, and prioritize requirements, and translate them into functional and non-functional user stories and acceptance criteria. Validate that product deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 10-12 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a technical role focused on Drupal, WordPress and other brand website development platforms and frameworks Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and knowledge of SEO best practices. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies. Experience with other CMS platforms and web development frameworks.
