Responsibilities: Collaborate with executive management to assess and analyze existing data architecture within the Snowflake environment. Provide expert guidance on best practices and strategies for optimizing data architecture within Snowflake. Explore various use cases and recommend solutions to ensure the right data is available to the right stakeholders at the right time. Advise on data refresh cadence to meet business needs and compliance requirements. Play a proactive role in addressing data governance concerns, ensuring alignment with SOX compliance standards. Lead the evaluation of data transfer processes between applications without involving the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Provide expertise in clustering solutions within Snowflake. Lead the discovery phase, conduct recon on the current Snowflake environment, and make recommendations for enhancements. Collaborate with analytics teams to implement recommended solutions effectively. Requirements: Certification in Snowflake is mandatory. Proven experience in designing and implementing Snowflake data architecture solutions. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams and drive successful outcomes. Prior experience sitting on or collaborating closely with executive teams. Demonstrated ability to lead the discovery and recon phases of data architecture projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex data-related challenges. Strong communication skills to articulate recommendations and solutions effectively. Proactive and forward-thinking approach to data governance and compliance. Must be located in or near Miami and able to commute to the office as required.
